Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper to join our busy medical practice on a part-time basis. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

Xero/MYOB bookkeeping
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Supplier invoice processing and accounts payable
BAS preparation and superannuation processing
Fortnightly payroll processing, STP reporting, and EOFY finalisation
Medicare and DVA reconciliations
Processing doctor RCTIs
Generating reports from Best Practice/PracSoft
General bookkeeping and financial administration support
Days & Hours: Monday & Wednesday | Approx. 18 hours per week (part-time)

About You

Previous bookkeeping experience (medical practice experience highly regarded)
Strong knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB
Experience with payroll, STP, BAS, and reconciliations
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Organised, proactive, and able to manage deadlines efficiently
Experience with Best Practice or PracSoft is advantageous
