Office Administrator / Bookkeeper / Accounts

Location: Gladesville, NSW

Flexible Hours – Ideal for School Hours

This position is ideally suited to a local candidate seeking flexible working hours that fit around school commitments.

We are a construction subcontractor seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to join our small, friendly office in Gladesville. This is a permanent casual position offering approximately 20–30 hours per week (negotiable), making it ideal for someone looking to work close to home during school hours.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Bookkeeping

Payroll
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank reconciliations
General bookkeeping and accounting administration

Office Administration

Credit applications
Ordering office stationery and supplies
Filing, scanning and maintaining electronic document archives
Assisting in maintaining a clean and organised workplace

Project Administration

Preparing weekly site documentation packages
Processing timesheets, site reports and pre-start forms
Following up outstanding site documentation
Maintaining project files and records

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Previous office administration and bookkeeping experience

Desirable:

Experience with Reckon (QuickBooks) accounting software (preferred but not essential)

Personal Attributes

Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable and punctual

Employment Details

Permanent casual position
Approximately 20–30 hours per week (negotiable)
Flexible working hours to suit school hours where possible
