The Vow Quality Control Technician role is an entry-level to early-career laboratory and food safety position focused on ensuring the safety, consistency, and quality of cultivated meat products.
Main responsibilities
Collecting and preparing samples from raw materials, cell mass, and finished products
Performing phys-chem and analytical testing
Maintaining QC laboratory equipment and calibration
Recording and analysing QC data
Supporting quality systems such as QMS and HACCP
Assisting with GMP/internal audits
Communicating batch release results to manufacturing teams
Contributing to continuous improvement projects across production and food safety
Required qualifications
Typical requirements include:
Degree in chemistry, biology, microbiology, food science, or related field
Wet-lab or analytical testing experience (internships/coursework acceptable)
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a manufacturing/lab environment
