Dentist Near Me is a growing dental practice with locations in Old Toongabbie and Merrylands, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and proactive Dental Assistant to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is not only confident with dental assisting but is also willing to learn, take initiative and contribute positively to the practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our team, you will be involved in:
- Providing friendly and professional patient care
- Assisting dentists during a wide range of dental procedures
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
- Sterilisation and infection-control procedures
- Preparing instruments and materials for treatment
- Assisting with patient flow and appointment management
- Performing recalls and appointment confirmations
- Proactively following up with patients
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
- Learning and following our clinical and administrative workflows
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate is:
- Experienced in dental assisting – experience is required
- Friendly, professional and confident when communicating with patients
- Proactive and takes initiative
- Reliable, organised and punctual
- Able to work independently while also being a great team player
- Comfortable working in a busy dental environment
- Willing and able to learn new skills and workflows quickly
- Fluent in English
- Patient-focused and committed to providing a high standard of care
Experience & Skills
Preferred:
- Previous Dental Assisting experience
- Experience working in a dental practice or medical centre
- Experience with Core Practice software
- CPR and First Aid certification
CPR and First Aid certification can be completed after employment if required.
