We are looking for an experienced Site Foreman with a strong carpentry background who takes pride in delivering quality work, leads by example and can confidently manage trades, programmes and site operations.
The Role
As Site Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites from commencement through to completion. You will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and to LMR Projects' quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced carpenter who has progressed into site supervision and enjoys coordinating trades while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations across multiple stages of construction.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries.
- Lead and mentor carpenters, apprentices and labourers.
- Maintain construction programmes and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Perform carpentry work where required.
- Ensure all works comply with building codes, Australian Standards and approved plans.
- Conduct regular quality inspections throughout construction.
- Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite.
- Enforce all Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
- Communicate daily with the Project Manager regarding progress, delays and site issues.
- Manage site documentation including daily diaries, inspections and photographs.
- Assist with material ordering and inventory management.
- Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, inspectors and suppliers.
- Coordinate building inspections and ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Proactively identify issues before they become project delays or cost variations.
- Ensure all projects are delivered to the high standard expected by LMR Projects.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Qualified Carpenter (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in residential construction.
- Previous experience as a Site Foreman, Leading Hand or Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of residential building methods and sequencing.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on site.
Desirable
- Experience in high-end renovations and extensions.
- First Aid Certificate.
- EWP, Working at Heights or other relevant licences.
- Experience using project management software such as Wunderbuild or similar.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
