About the opportunity
The Faculty of Medicine and Health is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Haematology to contribute to teaching, research and clinical engagement within a Clinical School. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an established academic clinician to deliver high-quality education, contribute to curriculum development and research excellence, and maintain strong clinical partnerships within the Northern NSLHD while supporting the school’s academic leadership. F ull clinical loading - pro-rata will apply for eligible candidate.
work closely with clinical school leadership, academic staff and health service partners
lead and coordinate high-quality teaching and learning in haematology
contribute to curriculum development, innovation and program improvement
coordinate academic staff activities and provide mentoring to junior colleagues
supervise higher degree research students and contribute to research training
maintain an active clinical role aligned with NSLHD and contribute to research
About you
PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline
specialist expertise in haematology with FRACP and current AHPRA registration
clinical appointment as a haematologist within NSLHD
demonstrated experience in teaching leadership within a clinical school
strong track record in research and scholarly activity
experience coordinating staff activities and mentoring colleagues.
