Are you a licensed plumber looking for something more specialised than regular plumbing?
We are a growing hydronic heating and climate solutions business looking for a qualified plumber to join our team in a hands-on installation role, with a clear pathway into team leadership and installation management.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced plumber who wants to move away from general maintenance, bathrooms, drainage or everyday plumbing work and build a long-term career in a more specialised, technical and high-value area of the industry.
You will be working on quality residential and light commercial projects, installing energy-efficient hydronic heating systems including floor coils, manifolds, plant rooms, radiator panels, smart controls and associated pipework.
About the Role
You will initially work hands-on across hydronic heating installations while learning and developing deeper knowledge in radiant heating and specialist climate systems.
As the business grows, the role will progress into supervising installers, managing site standards, supporting apprentices/trades, coordinating projects and helping build a strong installation team.
This role is ideal for someone who still enjoys being on the tools but wants to step into a more specialised trade pathway with future leadership opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the company's nominated supervisor
- Carry out hands-on hydronic heating installations
- Install floor coil systems, pipework, manifolds, radiator panels and plant room equipment
- Work across slab, screed and retrofit heating applications
- Read plans and follow project documentation
- Coordinate with builders, clients and other trades onsite
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and site presentation
- Support apprentices, trades and subcontractors
- Assist with quality control, job completion checks and installation standards
- Help develop team systems and processes as the business grows
About You

You will ideally have:
- Current NSW plumbing & gas licence and ability to act as nominated supervisor
- Strong plumbing or mechanical services installation experience
- Interest in specialist hydronic heating and climate systems
- Ability to read plans and work independently
- Pride in clean, accurate and well-planned installation work
- Good communication skills with builders, clients and trades
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable, organised and willing to take ownership
- Interest in progressing into a leadership role as the team grows
Hydronic heating experience is highly regarded, but not essential for the right licensed plumber with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
