A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Technical Sales Specialist reporting to the Executive Manager of Technical Sales.
A bit about your role
As the Technical Sales Specialist, you will play a valued role in supporting Retail Service Providers (RSPs) by delivering thoughtful and reliable pre-contract technical sales support across nbn fibre products including FTTP and Enterprise Ethernet. You will provide end-to-end coordination of fibre estimate requests, technical quoting and deal support, ensuring each interaction is handled with care, accuracy and a strong sense of accountability.
Working closely with Sales, Planning, and Commercial teams, you will help shape enterprise and business opportunities by preparing detailed technical inputs and guiding smaller or lower-complexity deals through to handover. You will bring structure and clarity to the process, ensuring all activities align with governance frameworks and quality standards, while maintaining a steady focus on meeting timelines and expectations.
Your ability to collaborate across diverse teams will support the seamless flow of information, from fibre pathway insights through to contract execution. You will also lead the fibre path request process, ensuring requests are coordinated, tracked, and delivered with accuracy and within agreed timeframes. Along the way, you will contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, and supporting a positive and responsive experience for both internal stakeholders and RSP partners.
A bit about you
You are a collaborative and thoughtful professional who brings both technical understanding and commercial awareness to your work. With experience in technical sales, pre-sales support or bid coordination within a telecommunications or similar environment, you are comfortable navigating fibre-based solutions and translating complex information into meaningful outcomes.
You take pride in building strong, respectful relationships and are confident engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders. Your communication style is clear and considered, and you naturally create alignment by listening, guiding and working together towards shared goals. You are highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities with care, and you approach your work with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
With a calm and solutions-focused mindset, you thrive within structured environments while remaining adaptable to changing priorities. Most importantly, you are motivated by purpose and connection, and you value the opportunity to contribute to something bigger, supporting the delivery of reliable, high-quality network solutions that make a real difference across Australia.
