Main job duties:

· Preparing workpapers, financial statements and tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies involving complex structure and some with exposure to international taxation;

· Liaising with clients, ATO, ASIC and other stakeholders;

· Tax planning and research, business consultation and advisory work. This includes assisting in drafting tax advices and business plans;

· Payroll and management accounts; and

· Some project management work.

What you’ll get whilst your here:

· CA or CPA program assistance, including financial support, study leave and study materials;

· Regular technical & soft skill trainings to build knowledge of relevant tax and business issues;

· Learning, flexibility and support from an experienced close-knit team; and

· Relationship building activities and functions.

What we need from you:

· Minimum 1 years’ experience in business services/tax area;

· Strong accounting background (accruals, provisions, etc);

· Strong interest in taxation (income tax, GST, FBT, etc);

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

· Intelligence and enthusiasm;

· The ability to work under pressure;

· An eye for detail and a desire to learn;

· Interpersonal communication skills;

· A university degree majoring in Accounting;

Salary range - $75-90k package
