The Opportunity

As the Fund Analyst for the infrastructure sector funds, you will assist with the preparation and implementation of the investment strategies, financial models, the dynamics of portfolio returns and primary influences on those returns. Developing an understanding of the Funds portfolio and its key characteristics, drivers, risks and opportunities, your ability to build strong and respected relationships will enable you to assist and support the Fund Manager in delivering results.

You will make an impact by:

Assisting the Fund Manager in the preparation of the Fund investment strategy, plans, models, etc.
Managing relationships with internal stakeholders primarily Asset Managers, Transaction Managers, Finance, and Research.
Assisting in the preparation of marketing materials and presentations, working closely with the Investor Relations and Marketing teams
Analysing the strategic and financial impact of acquisitions and divestments and perform other financial analysis

About You

You will bring:

Tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance, or Commerce; further studies or professional courses in a related discipline are advantageous.
5 years’ experience in a real asset, analytical or related
Thorough understanding of the real assets market – most likely gained from direct experience in one or more real asset sectors
Strong analytical skills, DCF and other valuation methodologies, investment return calculations and portfolio/fund modelling, willingness to learn and develop new skill sets
Demonstrated ability to use initiative, work without supervision and assume full responsibility for completion of tasks
