Join a dedicated Child and Family Allied Health team delivering high-quality, family-centred care across Doonside and Mount Druitt Community Health Centres. You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment committed to improving outcomes for children and their carers.

What you'll be doing
Provide practical and client-focused support to Allied Health Professionals in delivering effective therapy services for children and families.

Assist with individual and group therapy programs under supervision
Deliver client-related activities aligned with care plans and goals
Document client progress and communicate outcomes to the team
Manage resources, equipment and therapy materials
Support safe, engaging environments that maximise therapy outcomes

Essential Criteria:

Qualification: Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance/relevant qualification or currently enrolled in training for a Certificate IV in AHA or relevant qualification.

Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.

2. Demonstrated previous experience in a health or community environment.

3. Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing member of an allied health team.

4. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload delegated by supervising AHP's, meet deadlines and complete activities within scope of practice, seeking assistance as required.

5. Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.

6. Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles and how it applies to the duties of the position.

7. Demonstrated ability to work within a healthcare service or professional care giving capacity, in a positive manner enhancing the client's ability to achieve positive outcomes and personal goals.

8. Current Driver’s Licence
