Location - Supreme Court of NSW (Sydney CBD)

Location – Industrial Relations Commission (Sydney CBD/Parramatta)

Employment type – Ongoing Full time

Salary – $84,659 - $92,701 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

As a Senior Client Services Officer / Chief Clerk, you will provide complex administrative and client service support within a court environment while ensuring compliance with legislative and procedural requirements. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to clients, supporting court operations, and supervising staff while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What you’ll do

As part of the Superior Courts team, you will

Deliver high-quality, professional client service to a diverse range of stakeholders
Supervise, support, and guide team members, including on-the-job training
Manage complex enquiries and provide procedural advice
Prepare court documentation, listings, and ensure compliance with legislation
Liaise with judicial officers, legal practitioners, and members of the public
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team effectiveness
Use digital systems to manage records, reporting, and workflows

What we’re looking for

We are seeking motivated candidates who can demonstrate:
Strong customer service skills in a complex or high-pressure environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively and support team performance
Sound judgement, initiative, and attention to detail

Essential Requirements

Good Literacy and numeracy skills
Knowledge and a demonstrated ability to apply relevant court policies procedures and guidelines including statutory and reporting requirements.
