All-Rounder Game Master & Performer – Escape Rooms, Saboteurs Among Us Game & Horror Experiences
Do you love entertaining others, thinking on your feet, and creating unforgettable experiences? We’re looking for confident, energetic All-Rounders to run a wide range of attractions – from our chaotic Among Us-style game Saboteurs, to our Retro Arcade Escape Rooms, to our terrifying new Cursed Passage horror experience.
Whether you're briefing a team, running live gameplay, or scaring the life out of someone in a crawlspace, this role has it all.
Key Responsibilities:
Game Hosting (Saboteurs, Forgotten Arcade & More)
- Welcome guests with warmth, humour, and confidence.
- Deliver safety and gameplay briefings in a fun, engaging way.
- Monitor live gameplay and ensure rules are followed and fun is had.
- Reset games and troubleshoot minor tech issues.
Scare Acting (Cursed Passage Horror Experience)
- Embody creepy, eerie characters to frighten and entertain guests.
- Use improv and movement across multiple rooms to build suspense.
- Work with timing, lighting, and space to create memorable scares.
- Maintain character while adapting to guests' reactions.
Customer Service & Guest Experience
- Ensure every group feels looked after from arrival to exit.
- Answer questions, give helpful guidance, and handle feedback with professionalism.
- Adjust your approach based on the group (families, teens, work groups, etc.).
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communicator with great energy and presence.
- Ability to think fast and adapt in a live setting.
- Comfortable performing in character and improvising when needed.
- Physically able to move between rooms and crouch/crawl in confined spaces (for horror roles).
- Passion for games, entertainment, puzzles or horror experiences.
- Bonus: Experience in customer service, theatre, or live entertainment.
