The Opportunity

Access Aged Care is seeking dedicated General Practitioners to provide high-quality medical care to residents across Residential Aged Care Homes on the Sunshine Coast.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to practise relationship-based medicine within a structured and well-supported model of care. As a GP with Access Aged Care, you will work as part of a coordinated multidisciplinary team — including experienced nurses, telehealth geriatricians, physicians, and administrative staff — delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care within the aged care setting.

Our model is designed to reduce administrative burden and provide clear clinical frameworks and escalation pathways, enabling you to focus on meaningful patient engagement. You will benefit from professional autonomy, a sustainable caseload, and the opportunity to see the lasting impact of your care on residents, their families, and the broader care team.

Whether you are an experienced GP or newly Fellowed, this role offers flexibility while enabling you to become a trusted clinical presence within Residential Aged Care Homes, supporting consistent, high-quality care.

Requirements

Current AHPRA Specialist Registration as a General Practitioner.
RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship required (or nearing completion).
Availability of 1 week day per week.
Comfortable with technology, including system-based reporting and common clinical software.
A personal laptop is required to perform the duties of this role.
