About the Role

In the Commis Chef role, your day to day will involve:

Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations during service
Assisting with food preparation and section setup
Learning San Telmo standards, recipes and cooking techniques
Maintaining cleanliness, food safety and organisation across the kitchen
Working closely with senior chefs to develop your skills and progress your career

Skills & Experience

Proven BOH experience in a fast-paced, premium restaurant environment
Strong understanding of section management, prep organisation and service execution
Ability to maintain consistency and quality during high-volume service periods
Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operational standards
Full working rights in Australia and availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
