Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our logistics team in Strathalbyn, South Australia. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in inventory management, order fulfilment, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality of shipments.
Organise and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring items are stored correctly.
Pick and pack orders for dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment.
Assist with stocktaking and inventory audits as required.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and lift heavy items.
A valid forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
