Interior Designer
DesignInc is an association of independent, multi-disciplinary design practices with studios in Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin,

The Role
In this role you will:
‒ Attend and support project leadership in the preparation and delivery of presentations for user group workshops.
‒ Produce design documentation across all project phases, from concept through to construction documentation.
‒ Curate the selection of materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures.
‒ Contribute to project delivery, including managing RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits and inspections.
‒ Build and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships via proactive communication skills.
‒ Build your professional relationships by working within collaborative project teams.
‒ Mentor and provide guidance to graduate designers, offering feedback and support.
‒ Work across and gain experience within multiple sectors such as Education, Health, Defence, Community and Recreation.
‒ Have the opportunity to work on local, regional, and national projects of differing scales.
Your Skills + Experience
‒ Have a minimum of 4 years relevant experience post-graduation.
‒ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
‒ Degree qualification in Interior Design.
‒ Proficiency using Revit, Enscape, Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
‒ Demonstrated ability to delivery interior design packages within small to medium sized project teams.
‒ Willingness to work as part of a large project team when requited, and the ability to also work autonomously.
‒ Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
‒ A sound understanding of the NCC and relevant Australian Standards.
