About the Role
Grampians Health invites dedicated and driven Registered Nurses to embark on a transformative journey through our Postgraduate Program in Specialty Practice. Elevate your nursing career and specialise in the field of Perioperative. This program offers a unique opportunity to enhance your clinical expertise and contribute to the advancement of healthcare. It is available at the Stawell campus.
The postgraduate clinical employment is 52 weeks for 48 - 64 hours per fortnight (dependent on the specialty stream) and is expected to commence in February 2027.

Key Responsibilities
- Practices independently and interdependently assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions and the delegation of care to other healthcare workers as required
- Contributes to quality healthcare through personal and professional development, research data, clinical supervision and development of policy and clinical practice guidelines
- Develops professional practice in accordance with the health needs of the population and changing patterns of disease and illness
- Be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes
Skills & Experience
- Be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current Practicing Certificate
- Demonstrated organisational skills particularly with respect to time management
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development
- Demonstrated ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $42.60 - $54.40 per hour.
