Generators Australia is the leading supplier of Diesel Generators, Solar and Hybrid Lighting Towers, Hybrid Generators, Lithium Battery Storage Units, Solar Security Cameras, with our core business being the rental and sale of these products.

Generators Australia stocks Globe Power designed, engineered and manufactured products providing a variety of equipment solutions to a wide range of Construction, Civil Mining, Services and Event sectors.

We're excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled and motivated Mechanic / Service Technician Yatala branch.

If you enjoy working with a variety of machinery, diagnosing faults, and getting equipment back into action quickly and safely, this is a great opportunity to be part of a growing local team.

You'll be responsible for keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently, both in the workshop and out in the field:

Performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, diagnostics and repairs
Ensuring equipment is maintained in line with manufacturer, company and Australian standards
Building strong, professional relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams
Completing workshop-based duties and field service work when required
Working within company policies, procedures and systems
Maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality at all times

This role works Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm and is based out of our Yatala Branch.

We're after a reliable tradesperson with strong mechanical skills and a practical, can-do attitude:

Mechanical trade qualifications (essential)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, can-do attitude with resilience and determination
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
A valid driver's licence
The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, and be self-motivated.
