Be part of a dynamic Endocrinology Clinical Research team supporting innovative clinical trials at Royal North Shore Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, patient-focused administrator to make a real impact in healthcare.

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 30 June 2027 (with the possibility of ongoing employment)

Where you'll be working
Endocrinology Department, Royal North Shore Hospital, Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD)

What you'll be doing
This Administration Officer role provides essential support to the Endocrinology Clinical Research team. Key responsibilities include assisting Clinical Trial Coordinators with participant pre-screening activities, contacting patients regarding appointments and study requirements, processing pathology/laboratory samples, preparing visit worksheets and study documentation, maintaining accurate data entry and records, and providing high-level administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of clinical research activities.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

Please describe your experience in providing high-level administrative support in a busy healthcare or customer-facing environment.

Describe your experience communicating with patients, clinicians or stakeholders, including managing phone enquiries and coordinating appointments.

Please provide an example of how you managed competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, including the use of computer systems/data entry.
