Main Duties
Measure, cut, and assemble timber and building materials
Install doors, windows, partitions, cabinets, and fixtures
Read and interpret construction drawings and plans
Perform framing, formwork, and structural carpentry work
Carry out interior fitout and finishing work (joinery tasks)
Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
Repair and maintain wooden structures on-site
Ensure all work meets building codes and safety standards
Work closely with site supervisors and other trades
Maintain clean and safe work areas
Work Environment
Construction sites (commercial buildings, offices, hospitals, schools)
Workshop or factory for pre-fabrication joinery
Outdoor and indoor work conditions
Physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing, standing)

Requirements
Carpentry/Joinery trade qualification (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
White Card (Construction Induction) in Australia
