Looking for morning work that leaves your afternoons free?

Join Ventia's school cleaning team and play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff every day.

Role Details

Position: School Cleaner
Location: Augustine Heights, QLD
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00am – 8:00am
Pay: From $33.85 per hour + penalties + super
Contract: Casual

Strong performance may lead to ongoing opportunities, including potential pathways to permanent employment with the Department of Education.

Key Responsibilities

Clean classrooms, offices and shared spaces
Sweep, mop and vacuum floors
Clean and restock bathrooms
Sanitise desks and high-touch surfaces
Follow school hygiene, safety and security procedures

What You Will Need

Previous cleaning experience preferred
Live in or near the Ipswich area
Valid Blue Card and recent National Police Check
Ability to perform all physical cleaning duties
Ability to pass a medical assessment and drug and alcohol screening
