Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join our team on a subcontractor basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in lawn mowing and general garden maintenance, ensuring that our clients’ outdoor spaces are kept in pristine condition.

Key Responsibilities

Perform lawn mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain a neat appearance.
Conduct general garden maintenance tasks, including weeding, fertilizing, and pruning.
Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and other plants as required.
Ensure all gardening tools and equipment are in good working order.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences.
Manage time efficiently to complete jobs within agreed timelines.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in gardening, lawn care, and garden maintenance.
Equipment: Must possess own gardening equipment (mower, trimmer, etc.) and tools.
Vehicle: A reliable vehicle is required for transportation to job sites.
License: Valid driver’s license.
Availability: Flexible schedule; must be open to part-time or casual work as needed.

Skills

Strong attention to detail and a passion for gardening.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication skills for client interaction.
Basic knowledge of plant care and maintenance techniques.
