Delivery Driver / Yard Hand
Hire Pro is a growing Gold Coast equipment hire business, and we’re looking for a switched-on all-rounder to join the team. This isn’t just a driving job — we need someone who can deliver equipment, help run the yard, and keep our fleet clean, organised, and ready for hire. If you’ve got an HR licence, a strong work ethic, and enjoy working with machinery, we’d love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering and picking up hire equipment across the Gold Coast and surrounding areas
- Loading, unloading, and securing machinery safely
- Yard duties, including washing down equipment, inspections, organising the yard, preparing equipment for hire, and minor repairs on machinery and trailers
- Customer-facing work — explaining equipment and representing Hire Pro professionally at every delivery and collection
Our fleet
- Excavators (1T–5.5T)
- Loaders (1.3T–5T)
- Scissor lifts
- Arborist chippers and stump grinders
- Trucks, utes, trailers, and a range of small equipment
What you'll need
- HR Licence (essential)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised
- Good communication skills
- White Card, Forklift Licence, and EWP Ticket preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean driving record
The role
- Full-time position
- Monday to Friday, plus every second Saturday
- Based at our Mudgeeraba yard
- $70,000 per annum + Super
Where this can go
We're not just filling a position. Hire Pro is in a growth phase—we're building new systems, launching a new technology platform to improve productivity, and expanding our fleet. The right person who proves themselves in this role will have opportunities to grow into a senior yard or operations position as the business continues to expand. Next step — Paid trial day
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a paid trial day at our yard. You'll take part in a delivery run, yard duties, and general equipment preparation. You'll be paid for the day regardless of the outcome, as we believe it's the best way for both of us to determine whether we're the right fit.
