What is our Coordinator - Accreditation, Audit and Standards role?
The successful applicant will lead and manage activities to ensure development, performance and maintenance of effective governance and coordination of safety and quality activities, and performance evaluation across the Mental Health Services and Dental Health Services (MHSDHS). This includes providing leadership and coordination of activities across MHSDHS to facilitate accreditation requirements and continuous improvement.

Area profile
NMHS contains Western Australia’s largest Mental Health Service caring for youths, adults, and older adults. Services are delivered through inpatient units, community mental health clinics and day therapy and outreach programs to a catchment area of almost 1 million people. State-wide and Tertiary Mental Health Services include research, forensics, neurosciences, art therapy, eating disorders and other specialised services.

- A Cover Letter (max 3 pages) explaining why you are applying for this role and providing examples to demonstrate your knowledge, experience and skills in the areas of:
- The development, implementation and evaluation of clinical audit programs.
- Demonstrated application of national standards, accreditation process and quality improvement processes.
- Organisational change management.
- A detailed Resume which sets out your qualifications, capabilities and experience relevant to this position.
- References - the names and contact details of two (2) referees. It is preferable for one of your referees to have been a recent supervisor.
Applicants must ensure their nominated referees are available to provide references when requested, as failure to do so may result in them being deemed unsuitable.
Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
