Over the years, we've transformed into a registered Not-for-Profit Organisation and Charity, who own and manage a 60 Bed Residential Aged Care Facility and Retirement Village dedicated to serving our community.

What you'll be doing

Assisting residents with their daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobilising
Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, and working with the broader care to report and document changes in residents' health status
Providing companionship and engaging residents in social activities and therapeutic programs
Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to residents' care
Providing professional and compassionate care that meets the high standards required by Carinya and the strengthened aged care standards

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in aged care or personal care, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in providing personal care to elderly individuals, preferably in a residential setting, and exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, their families and the broader care team
Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine commitment to promoting the wellbeing of, and advocating for our residents
A strong commitment to safety, quality and the strengthened Aged Care standards
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate with nursing staff to achieve the best possible outcomes for your residents
Current police check and working with children check (or willingness to obtain)
