Full Job Description

About the role
As a Test Lead , you will make an impact by driving quality assurance across UI/UX, mobile, and cross-platform applications through both manual and automated testing practices. You will be a valued member of the QA & Testing team and work collaboratively with your QA Manager, cross-functional Agile teams, and UX researchers and designers.

In this role, you will:
Lead and execute UI/UX, manual, and automated testing across Android, iOS, and Windows platforms to ensure high-quality, user-centred product delivery
Collaborate closely with UX researchers and designers to develop and continuously improve user-focused test scenarios and acceptance criteria
Own and manage test cases, defect tracking, and sprint activities using Azure DevOps (ADO) within an Agile delivery model
Drive robustness and performance testing initiatives, including the application of JMeter for load and performance validation
Champion adaptability across evolving technology stacks, providing guidance and quality oversight to the broader Agile team

Work model:

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client office in Adelaide, SA. What you need to have to be considered:
Proven experience in UI/UX-based testing with a strong understanding of user-centred quality principles
Hands-on experience testing manual and automated applications across Android, iOS, and Windows mobile platforms
Demonstrated experience working within Agile delivery models as part of a cross-functional team
Exposure to performance testing tools, specifically JMeter, and robustness testing methodologies
Proficiency with Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing test cases, defects, and sprint activities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

These will help you stand out:
Hands-on experience with C#, Appium, and NUnit for test automation
Exposure to UX design frameworks and methodologies, with the ability to partner effectively with UX researchers and designers
Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly across varied and emerging technologies
