About the role:
The Senior Field/Soil Technician role is a dynamic and a crucial position within our team. As a highly motivated and experienced professional, you will be responsible for field-based soil testing and supervision, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and laboratory procedures. Your expertise and leadership will be vital in providing technical guidance, mentoring less experienced technicians, and delivering high-quality results. Requirements:
- Conduct field-based soil testing in accordance with Australian standards and laboratory procedures.
- Provide technical advice, assistance, and leadership within the team.
- Train and mentor less experienced technicians.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Demonstrated experience and extensive knowledge of laboratory and field testing.
- In-depth understanding of AS3798, AS1289, AS1012, AS 1141, and AS1726.
- Certificate IV in laboratory techniques.
- Nuclear density gauge license.
- Current construction induction white card.
- Current driver’s license and ability to drive manual vehicles.

- Effective communication skills with co-workers and clients.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Ability to work flexibly, including some out-of-hours work as required.
