THE ROLE

Are you passionate about movement, wellbeing and helping others feel strong and confident in their bodies? Do you enjoy leading engaging sessions where connection, inclusion and positive energy matter? Purruna Spencer Newton Centre are on the lookout for passionate and certified Reformer Pilates Instructors to join our vibrant team!

We are a vibrant community hub dedicated to promoting health and wellness for individuals of all ages. Our facility features a stunning, boutique-style Pilates studio equipped with 16 reformer beds, offering a diverse array of wellness programs for our community.

As a Pilates Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, engaging, and effective group classes in a supportive and welcoming environment. You’ll build meaningful connections with participants, adapt sessions to suit a range of abilities, and play an active role in fostering motivation, confidence and wellbeing.

As a Pilates Instructor, reporting to the Pilates Studio Manager, you will be:

Conducting dynamic group Pilates classes that cater to various skill levels;
Ensuring the safety and appropriateness of exercises for all participants;
Building strong connections with class members to foster motivation and engagement;
Promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere in every session; and
Contributing to the development and growth of our wellness programs.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y

Successful candidates will also have:

Reformer Pilates Certification
Professional Registration with applicable governing body (or willing to obtain)
HLTAID009 Provide CPR (or willing to obtain)
Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect” (RRHAN-EC) Masterclass training (or willing to obtain)
Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and work under pressure
Capable of communicating complex services and concepts efficiently and effectively
