An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Appraiser/Buyer to join our high-performing Pre-Owned Sales team at Mercedes-Benz Adelaide & Unley.
This is a dynamic role is suited to someone with strong market knowledge, an eye for value, and a passion for sourcing high-quality vehicles while contributing to a profitable and growing department.

About the role
- Represent Mercedes-Benz professionally across local and interstate dealer networks
- Source, purchase and appraise vehicles to support profitable pre-owned stock levels
- Generate leads through multiple channels including online platforms and Service customer engagement
- Conduct accurate and timely valuations of trade-in vehicles for new and pre-owned departments
- Maintain and review vehicle appraisals, ensuring re-valuations occur within required timeframes
- Collaborate closely with the Pre-Owned Sales Manager to meet stock and pricing requirements
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and online auctions (including interstate markets)
- Attend and participate in auctions and tenders to support wholesale and retail vehicle activity
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including wholesale agents, to manage stock flow
- Ensure compliance with company policies, maintain high presentation standards, and escalate financial risks appropriately
About you
- Previous experience in automotive sales, buying or appraisal (highly regarded)
- Mechanical knowledge or automotive background (advantageous)
- A high standard of personal presentation and professionalism
- Strong commercial acumen and results-driven mindset
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Passion for the automotive industry
- Current driver’s licence (required)
- Ability to complete a police check (required)
