Burton Demolition is looking for experienced demolition Excavator Operators to join our growing team.
Work with organised demolition crews, modern equipment and strong on-site support across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
Our operators are backed by labour support, supervisors, safety and compliance staff so jobs are prepared properly before machines arrive. Sites are generally prepared before mechanical demolition starts, including hand demolition and asbestos removal where required, allowing operators to work safely and efficiently.
This role is intentionally broad to attract experienced operators from residential, commercial and industrial demolition backgrounds in a tight market.
About the Role

Operating late-model excavators on demolition projects across Adelaide
- Structural demolition using grabs, shears and hammers
- Residential, commercial and industrial demolition works
- Working alongside organised site crews and labour support
- Daily machine checks and safe operation of equipment
- Following company procedures and site safety requirements
- Demolition-focused role — not bulk civil excavation work
Skills & Experience

Previous excavator operating experience within demolition
- Experience across residential, commercial or industrial demolition projects
- Strong safety and site awareness
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- White Card essential
- Relevant machine tickets/licences preferred
- Experience using demolition attachments including grabs, hammers and shears highly regarded
- Reliable, motivated and takes pride in equipment and workmanship
