Full Job Description

Are you an experienced farm hand looking to take the next step in your agricultural career? We are seeking Senior Farm Hand to join our cropping team in Burra, SA.

We are looking for someone experienced, motivated, and ready for their next challenge.

Key Responsibilities

Planting, spraying and harvesting broadacre and fodder crops.
Operating and maintaining modern farm machinery (tractors, seeders, balers, harvesters, sprayers).
Monitoring crop health and addressing pest, disease, or nutrient issues.
Working as part of a tight knit team.
Supporting planning and crop rotation strategies.
Record-keeping and assisting in crop reporting and yield tracking.
Upholding WHS and environmental compliance on-farm.

What You'll Bring

3–5 years of broadacre cropping experience (essential),
Strong machinery operation and maintenance skills,
Leadership and team supervision capabilities,
Ability to identify and manage soil, crop, and weather variables,
High level of physical fitness and willingness to work in the field,
Strong communication and problem-solving skills,
A proactive and professional approach to work.

Licences & Qualifications

Australian Driver's Licence, HC (required),
Chemical accreditation (desirable),
Confined space and Heights tickets (desirable),
Telehandler, Front End Load Tickets (desirable).
