Paste Crew Olympic Dam

The Role

We are currently seeking applications to join our Paste Fill Crew team working at Olympic Dam. This is a FIFO role with a 14 days on and 14 days off roster and will have a 12 months Fixed Term Contract.

Duties include but not limited to;

Installation of Paste Reticulation and associated equipment.
Operation of underground mobile plant including light vehicles, IT's and flatbed trucks.
Paste Wall Construction
Operation of Hand-Held Rock drills.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure proper operation and adherence to safety protocols.
Participate in safety meetings and training sessions, promoting a culture of safety and accountability among team members.
Working in various capacities both underground and on the surface
Other duties as directed by the Leading Hand or Pastefill Coordinator.

About you

Experience underground or in a similar role is preferred however, on the job training is provided.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a plant operating environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Current police clearance or willingness to obtain
Strong work ethic and punctual.
Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
Smoke free and clean-shaven site.
