Temporary, 32 hours per week, 7-day roster, until March 2027

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

The Registered Nurse - Emergency Department role offers the opportunity to provide nursing services within a dynamic health service setting. In this role, you will develop from a novice to a proficient practitioner, consolidating your knowledge and skills through continuous professional development and experience.

You will deliver person-centred care, assess and coordinate patient needs, and work collaboratively with other disciplines to achieve positive health outcomes. You will also be accountable for your own standards of care and activities delegated to others while contributing to quality improvement, education and evidence-based practice.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

Assess patient needs and plan, implement and coordinate care delivery.
Provide person-centred nursing care and case management on a shift-by-shift basis.
Coordinate care with other disciplines to support patient outcomes.
Participate in quality improvement, safe work practices and evidence-based care.
Support education, guidance and development of students and less experienced staff.
