Albright Institute is currently seeking an experienced Public Relations Professional to join our team at our Brisbane campus. This position will play a key role in enhancing the Institute’s public profile, supporting student recruitment initiatives, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and promoting the organisation’s achievements across domestic and international education markets.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication and public relations strategies that enhance the Institute’s reputation and visibility within the education sector.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with education agents, industry partners, community organisations, media representatives, and other key stakeholders.
- Prepare and coordinate press releases, newsletters, promotional materials, media statements, and other external communications.
- Identify and promote student success stories, organisational achievements, industry partnerships, and key milestones across multiple communication channels.
- Manage the Institute’s public communications activities, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with organisational objectives.
- Coordinate responses to media enquiries and assist management in preparing communications relating to business developments and announcements.
- Monitor media coverage, industry developments, and public sentiment relating to the vocational and international education sectors.
- Organise and support promotional events, education expos, networking functions, webinars, graduation ceremonies, and community engagement activities.
- Collaborate with marketing, admissions, academic, and compliance teams to ensure communication initiatives support student recruitment and business objectives.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing the Institute’s brand identity across digital platforms, publications, and stakeholder communications.
- Conduct research into industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to support communication and engagement strategies.
- Prepare reports on public relations activities, stakeholder engagement outcomes, and campaign performance for management review.
- Support crisis communication planning and contribute to the management of reputational risks when required.
- Maintain accurate records of stakeholder engagement activities and communication initiatives using relevant systems and databases.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in public relations, stakeholder engagement, communications, or marketing, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare professional media and promotional content.
- Experience engaging with external stakeholders, industry partners, education agents, or community organisations.
- Understanding of the international education sector, including RTO and CRICOS environments, will be highly regarded.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational and project coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and contribute to organisational objectives.
- Must be open to interstate and international travel when required.

Salary: Minimum AUD $80,000 per year plus superannuation
