Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our team in a permanent full-time role.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing over-the-counter, phone, and email sales enquiries.
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs.
- Promoting Surman Metals’ products, services, and capabilities.
- Providing outstanding customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Processing orders and performing accurate data entry.
- Assisting with stock management and inventory control.
- Supporting general office administration tasks as required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workplace.
- Assisting with the efficient day-to-day operation of the business.
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Hold full Australian working rights and currently reside in Australia.
- Have previous experience in the metals industry or a similar industrial sector.
- Have experience in sales and customer service.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be highly motivated, customer-focused, and target-driven.
- Be capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Possess sound computer literacy and administrative skills.
- Have strong numerical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude.
- Hold a current Australian driver’s licence.
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment.
- Availability to work standard 8-hour shifts.
