Full Job Description

We are expanding! Pride Prestige is a prestige automotive workshop that specialises in European vehicles with a focus on BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi, and Volkswagen. We have a full-time position available for a qualified and experienced automotive technician to join our team.

Full-time employment (part-time considered)

Duties will include:

Diagnose and repair of mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles
Servicing vehicles
Computer diagnostics
Liaising with vehicle owners and parts suppliers
Daily upkeep, cleaning, and maintenance of the workshop
Keeping accurate and clear records for vehicles on faults, repairs, replacement and completed services
Maintaining workshop tools and equipment
Maintaining a clean and tidy work space at all times

To be considered for the role, you will:

Have strong experience with European vehicles - dealership experience preferred
Be physically fit and capable
Be reliable and hardworking and able to work unsupervised
Be a confident and respectful communicator
Have an Australian driver’s licence & reliable vehicle
Hold an Automotive Mechanical trade qualification
Have solid experience in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Have the ability to carry out mechanical and electrical repairs
Have your own tools (excluding specialist workshop equipment)
AIS Examiner licence (pink slip) - preferred, but not mandatory
Automotive Air Conditioning licence - preferred, but not mandatory

To be successful in the role, you will:

Have high attention to detail
Take pride in your work
Have the ability to work well as part of a team as well as unsupervised
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
