STONEMASON / STONE FABRICATOR & INSTALLER
ITA Stone Pty Ltd – Smeaton Grange, NSWFull-Time Position
ITA Stone is looking for a reliable and motivated Stonemason / Stone Fabricator & Installer to join our growing team.
We specialise in the supply, fabrication and installation of premium stone surfaces, working across residential and commercial projects throughout Sydney.
Our work includes kitchens, islands, splashbacks, vanities, laundries, BBQ areas, commercial fit-outs and custom stone pieces using natural stone, quartzite, marble, porcelain/sintered stone and other premium surfaces.
The Role
Your day-to-day work may include:
- Fabricating and finishing stone benchtops and custom pieces
- Cutting, grinding, polishing and edge finishing
- Sink and cooktop cut-outs
- Mitres, joins and detailed finishing
- Reading plans, shop drawings and measurements
- Installing stone benchtops, islands, splashbacks and vanities
- Handling and positioning stone safely
- Working both in our factory and on-site
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Working closely with the ITA Stone team to achieve a high-quality finish
What We’re Looking For
We’d like someone who:
- Has experience in stonemasonry, stone fabrication or installation
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual and willing to work
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Understands the importance of safe stone handling and fabrication
- Is willing to learn and improve their skills
- Has a positive attitude and takes responsibility for their work
- Holds a valid Australian driver’s licence
Experience with bridge saws, wet polishing, porcelain/sintered stone and natural stone fabrication will be highly regarded.
