We seek an organised & proactive Trades Assistant / Wheel Repairer to ensure prompt response to rectifying damage or ‘wear & tear’ to the wheels/rims of our customers.
Join our team (either in Mackay QLD or Mount Thorley NSW) on a 6 month fixed term contract with potential to become permanent.

The Opportunity
- Work to best practice & the service standard protocols of BMSA & our customers
- Diagnose/Identify & troubleshoot wheel damage
- Ensure all equipment used on site meets operational requirements & allow work to be carried out in a safe manner
- Ensure that every wheel is inspected & complies to BMSA QMS after each process stage of repair
About You - Essential
- Aptitude/experience in metal fabrication or in a workshop environment
- Forklift licence (LF) or ability to obtain
- Strong commitment to safety of yourself & others
- Fit & able to carry out manual labour requirements
- Punctual, reliable & a team player with a can-do attitude
- Must have current work rights in Australia
About You - Preferred
- Experience with using a plasma cutter
- Trade qualifications or experience in welding/heavy fabrication
