Full Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Development

Design and develop new rotational moulded products from concept to production
Improve existing product designs for performance, durability, and manufacturability
Apply engineering principles to ensure products meet functional and safety requirements

CAD & Engineering Design

Produce detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent)
Prepare design documentation suitable for manufacturing and tooling processes

Prototyping & Testing

Develop and evaluate prototypes to validate design concepts
Conduct testing and analysis to assess product performance and reliability
Identify design improvements based on test results

Manufacturing Support

Work closely with production teams to support rotational moulding processes
Apply design-for-manufacturing principles specific to plastics and rotational moulding
Assist in improving mould design, tooling, and production efficiency

Engineering Analysis

Perform engineering analysis and simulations where required
Ensure designs meet relevant engineering and manufacturing standards

Continuous Improvement

Participate in design reviews and contribute to product and process improvements
Support cost reduction and optimisation initiatives within manufacturing

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Education:

Bachelor Degree (Required)
