Key Responsibilities
Product Design & Development
- Design and develop new rotational moulded products from concept to production
- Improve existing product designs for performance, durability, and manufacturability
- Apply engineering principles to ensure products meet functional and safety requirements
CAD & Engineering Design
- Produce detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent)
- Prepare design documentation suitable for manufacturing and tooling processes
Prototyping & Testing
- Develop and evaluate prototypes to validate design concepts
- Conduct testing and analysis to assess product performance and reliability
- Identify design improvements based on test results
Manufacturing Support
- Work closely with production teams to support rotational moulding processes
- Apply design-for-manufacturing principles specific to plastics and rotational moulding
- Assist in improving mould design, tooling, and production efficiency
Engineering Analysis
- Perform engineering analysis and simulations where required
- Ensure designs meet relevant engineering and manufacturing standards
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to product and process improvements
- Support cost reduction and optimisation initiatives within manufacturing
Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
Education:
- Bachelor Degree (Required)
