We’re looking for a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our high-performing Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial services to Council.

In this role, you will:
- Oversee the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions across Council
- Prepare reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Provide financial information and support to the broader Finance team
- Lead, mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate across business unit
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
About you:
We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings both technical capability and a proactive mindset. You will have:
- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Experience supervising or mentoring staff (highly desirable)
