EXPERIENCED PREP COOK / KITCHEN HAND
Winnie’s Bakehouse – Rockingham

We’re looking for an experienced Prep Cook / Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team at Winnie’s Bakehouse.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who can work cleanly, quickly and independently while keeping quality and consistency high.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll be helping with day-to-day kitchen prep and service support including:

Food preparation and portioning
Basic cooking and assembly
Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
Restocking and organising kitchen areas
Assisting chefs and kitchen leadership team
Following food safety and cleaning procedures
Helping maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen flow

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is essential
Someone reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure
Fast worker with good attention to detail
Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
Able to follow systems and instructions consistently
Good personal hygiene and food handling practices
Experience with prep-heavy kitchens, bakeries or cafes
Food Safety Certificate
Early morning availability
