Job Description

Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) is seeking a highly motivated and organised Administration Assistant to join our team. As an Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the project management teams and performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to project managers in day-to-day activities
Create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and reports
Ensure contracts are prepared and administered in compliance with all policies and procedures
Obtain all internal stakeholder approvals where required
Guide and help Project Managers and other stakeholders with understanding policies, procedures, processes, and tools

Our ideal candidate has:

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically MS Word
Excellent organisational and time management skills
At least 1 year of experience as an Administration Assistant or related position
Certificate, Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (desired but not mandatory)
