ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruiting for a Broadcast Specialist (12 months) within our Commercial department. This is a great opportunity for someone within Australian Cricket to support the Broadcast & Production team ahead of a busy summer of cricket!
The successful candidate will join a highly experiences, established and supportive team and work closely with our wonderful broadcast partners Foxtel, Seven Network, ABC, SEN and SCA.
Reporting to the Senior Broadcast Operations Manager, key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Be a key point of contact for the relevant International and Domestic Rights Holders (television and radio), BBL/WBBL clubs, state associations, venue staff, internal and external stakeholders, and ancillary/non-exclusive partners.
Drive content opportunities for our broadcast partners in season, ensuring CA’s strategic objectives are a focus of any integration
Generate opportunities, via our broadcasters, for cricket promotion during other sporting and non sporting programs screened on their channels
Manage all content capture requirements for broadcast partners, both in the lead up to and during the summer (including content camp, headshot shoots, feature pieces)
Manage the logistics, stakeholder ticketing, at match filming requests
Ensure a successful summer of broadcast is delivered, increasing SOV and TV ratings.
Support the rest of the Broadcast Operations team in the planning, implementation, and execution of the allocated content.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience in broadcast and/or working for a leading sporting organisation in a media/stakeholder management role
Knowledgeable in the area of broadcast and media
Exceptional communication and organisational skills
Ability to multitask and make sound decisions under pressure
Willingness to travel and work over weekends and holidays, including Christmas
An understanding of cricket and its operational environment and experience in managing stakeholder relationships, would also be highly regarded
