About the Role:
We are seeking Assistant in Nursing (AINs)/Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team and provide exceptional care across a variety of healthcare settings, including aged care facilities and community environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for compassionate and dedicated individuals who are eager to make a difference in people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) with patient care
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Support mobility and assist with daily activities
- Monitor patients' well-being and report changes to healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients
- Follow care plans and agency guidelines to ensure high-quality service
Requirements:
- Must have full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Disability) or equivalent
- Full legal rights to work in Australia
- At least 3 - 6 months experience in aged care, disability, or hospital settings (preferred)
- A National Police Check (within the last 6-12 months)
- A current First Aid/CPR certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Current Flu Vaccination
- Records of Vaccination / Immunity
- Your own reliable transport
- Ability to represent Good Hope Healthcare to the best of your ability
- Effective communication and great interpersonal skills
- Reliable and able to maintain a safe and high standard of practice
