Chef / Cook (All-Rounder) – Village Grind, Salamander Bay

Are you a passionate chef or cook looking for a great work-life balance with no night shifts?

Village Grind in Salamander Bay is expanding! We are looking for two skilled Chefs or Cooks to join our supportive team and vibrant local community. We offer flexible scheduling and are seeking candidates interested in either:

1 Full-Time + 1 Part-Time position, OR
2 Part-Time positions.

About the Role

While your main focus will be managing kitchen prep and producing delicious cafe dishes during peak trade, we love team players! As an All-Rounder, you’ll also be happy to lend a hand with general cafe duties when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality cafe dishes efficiently.
Maintaining food safety standards and keeping a clean, organized kitchen.
Assisting with food prep, stock ordering, and kitchen management.
Pitching in with general cafe tasks to support the team during busy periods.

What We’re Looking For

Experience as a Cook or Chef in a fast-paced cafe environment.
A warm, reliable teammate who enjoys connecting with our local community.
Strong multitasking skills and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
