The Role
We are seeking professional and detail-oriented Cleaning Team Members to join our team at the prestigious Powerhouse Museum.
This is a unique opportunity to work within a high-profile cultural institution, where presentation, precision and pride in your work truly matter. You will play a key role in maintaining a pristine, welcoming and world-class environment for visitors, curators, stakeholders and VIP guests.
Roster: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:06pm
Award: Hospitality Award (Level 3)
Must haves: Working with childrens check

Powerhouse Museum is a premium cultural destination, attracting local, interstate and international visitors. This site requires team members who take pride in delivering a five-star standard of cleanliness and understand the importance of discretion, professionalism and care in a high-value environment.
Role Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial, museum, gallery, corporate or high-end retail cleaning preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to presentation standards
- Experience working in customer-facing environments
- Understanding of safe chemical handling and cleaning techniques
- Experience with cleaning machinery (scrubbers, buffers, sweepers) highly regarded
- Strong commitment to WHS and compliance procedures
- Professional presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Valid Australian working rights
- Valid and current WWCC
