About Us
As part of the Workplace Department's Project Delivery Section, this role will be based in Craigieburn leading a project team upgrading the electronic security across a multi-facility site. As Project Manager, you will lead and work alongside other team members to plan, coordinate, and deliver design, tendering and construction / installation activities with a multidisciplinary team of external design consultants, contractors and specialist installers.
This role will appeal to someone who has experience in delivering electronic security renewal & upgrade projects, is proactive, able to work autonomously, resolve problems with multiple stakeholder groups, working across teams and contributing to the success of complex projects in high security environments.

You will lead end to end project delivery, ensuring successful outcomes the projects full lifecycle. This role is ideal for a proactive, solutions focused professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working with diverse stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Delivery and Governance.
Deliver projects within the agreed parameters of schedule, budget, resources, scope, quality and benefits.
Contribute to the uplift of project and program maturity by ensuring effective governance, delivery discipline, and continuously supporting improvement across all aspects of project delivery, processes, and templates.
Manage scope, design, program, and budget changes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely decision-making informed by a clear understanding of impacts on outcomes and benefit realisation
Lead monthly Governance and EPMO reporting for the project
Operational & Compliance Experience
Risk Management
Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues using the Bank’s Risk Framework.
Ability to challenge assumptions, simplify complexities, and capitalise on opportunities to improve project value and execution.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Ability to build trust and confidence through proactive engagement with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Influence senior stakeholders and management to support project objectives.
Financial Management and Governance
Provide guidance and oversight on managing project financials throughout the project lifecycle, in line with budgetary controls and forecasting requirements.
Lead and manage the monitoring of project variances in schedule and financial position, enabling early identification and resolution of issues.
Procurement & Contract Management
Lead procurement activities, including the development of tender documentation and facilitation of tender panel evaluation processes.
Contract management and administration, including preparation of contract documents and performance evaluation against Statements of Work or Service Level Agreements
About You
You’re a confident project leader with a strong track record in delivering complex infrastructure or security projects. You bring a structured approach to project management and are happy to roll your sleeves up and thrive in environments that require problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and accountability.
Your Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience delivering end to end electronic security projects
Demonstrated experience delivering end to end construction or infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools
Experience developing business cases and feasibility studies
Demonstrated ability to manage risk, budgets, and complex stakeholder environments
Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent experience) in Electronic Security, Building Services, or similar
Professional certification in Project or Program Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
Current NV1 (or higher) Commonwealth Security Clearance or ability to gain is essential.
