Safehome Gates & Fences Pty Ltd is a fast-growing fencing company based in Dandenong, delivering high-quality residential and commercial fencing across Melbourne.
We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking Fence Installer / Labourer who is keen to build a long-term career in the fencing industry.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable working outdoors, and wants to learn from experienced installers while developing practical skills.
About the Role
You’ll be working in a small, supportive team installing a wide range of fencing, including:
- Colorbond fencing
- Steel and aluminium fencing
- Gates and gate automation systems
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Setting out fence lines
- Digging post holes (manual or auger)
- Mixing and pouring concrete
- Installing posts, rails, and panels
- Operating power tools and construction equipment
- Loading and unloading materials
- Maintaining tools and company vehicles
This is a hands-on outdoor role where every day is different.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and eager to learn.
Essential:
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Team player with good communication
- Punctual and dependable
Highly Regarded (but not essential):
- Previous fencing experience
- Background in construction, carpentry, or landscaping
- Experience with grinders, augers, or demo saws
- Driver’s licence
- White Card
