About the role
- We have an excellent opportunity for an exercise physiologist to join us to support the demand for exercise physiology care.
- You will operate in a modern consulting room with exercise equipment, have administration support, HICAPS claiming, Cliniko cloud-based practice management software with an online booking system, and automated patient forms.
- We would ideally like someone to be available 1-2 sessions per week on a Thursday afternoon/ evening and some Saturday mornings, however we can be flexible with the days if required.
- The position is a subcontractor arrangement.
- Your exercise physiology case load could include cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, obesity/weight gain, type 2 diabetes, musculoskeletal injuries, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, depression and anxiety, neurological conditions, pre- and post- natal care, cancer, post-stroke care, Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans, WorkSafe, TAC, DVA and NDIS patients.
Qualifications & experience
- A fully registered exercise physiologist with ESSA.
- Other requirements are current professional indemnity insurance and provider number eligibility.
- We are open to accepting newer graduates.
